Growing up in Manhattan, Diana Glassman has been a social activist since age 14 when she demonstrated against Capital Punishment. She continued that activism in the ‘60s as a part of the Civil Rights Movement, participating in the famous March on Washington in 1963 as well as witnessing Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream,” speech.

Diana forged an enriching career as a social worker, advocating for abused children, troubled teens, and individuals struggling with substance abuse. She studied holistic nutrition in the ‘70s, and started her own food business. Her passion for health and healing spurred her on to becoming an acupuncturist.

A writer since she was a teen, Diana approached her memoir as an opportunity to revisit a lifetime of cherished memories, charting her journey of survival and growth into a woman full of inner peace with a mission of advocacy for others who have survived similar challenges. In My Life, is Diana’s first book.

An avid animal lover, Diana has cared for numerous pets over the years. She lives in Sebastopol, California, with her incredible wife and partner of thirty-six years, Roberta Teller, and their beautiful three-year-old dog, Sadie.
